Implementing meaningful change is never easy. We get that. And creating a culture where the safe use of lifting equipment is essential can be a complex process. But it doesn’t have to be – if you have a trained, experienced and certified Coach on your team.
ATLAS’ SPHM Coaches are dedicated to you and your facility. During this phase of the program, Coaches are responsible for working with your care staff and unit managers to develop procedures for equipment storage, maintenance and accessory inventory controls to help reduce the costs incurred from equipment loss and replacement. Coaches perform bedside demonstrations of safe and effective techniques and relentlessly champion the message of safe patient handling and mobility.
Our dedicated team of SPHM experts work with your safe patient handling strategic team to enhance the implementation plan and direction. A critical component of this stage is the refinement of policies and procedures concerning bariatric and limited mobility patients. This ensures the program incorporates and follows a consistent set of guidelines appropriate to the needs of both unique and general patient populations. Your ATLAS team will ensure your policies are compliant with individual state legislations and national standards.
Atlas personnel are dedicated to your facility and work hard to establish a deep connection with your care providers and trust with your patients. Each Atlas team member is bonded and insured after undergoing rigorous screening and testing to ensure unvarying excellence in SPHM. Our SPHM coaches are directed by your team, but monitored and managed by the Atlas Regional Manager. The SPHM coaches are on our payroll, removing supervisory cost and burden to your facility.
